A\u00a0testimony or maybe a challenge to parallels and the idea of the\u00a0infinite carried by them no matter the\u00a0chosen track? In any case\u00a0there are in Marie-Laure Mallet-Melchior\u2019s paintings the components\u00a0of a\u00a0ceaseless movement, crossing paths, of travels in unknown sites\u00a0which yet are recognized as images of\u00a0an epoch, current or not.<\/p>\n
Then\u00a0come memories accumulated in a haphazard way during journeys, drawn\u00a0from a more or less foggy\u00a0memory like landscapes through the window\u00a0of a train\u2026Like the painting which in the end is offered to\u00a0our\u00a0vision that can be devoted to blurriness by either adding or\u00a0subtracting elements or colors and thus\u00a0become a mine of forgotten\u00a0emotions in our innermost core which are suddenly roused by this\u00a0artistic\u00a0exploration. \u00bb<\/p>\n
